DESCRIPTION

The Pentax 17 captures two 17 × 24 mm images on a single full-frame medium format frame, effectively doubling the number of exposures per roll. It features a film advance lever and a rewind crank for convenient handling. This format supports vertical shots, popularized by smartphones and social media.

The camera includes a mode selector to compensate exposure, a control for adjusting ISO sensitivity, and a holder for recording film information. Users can choose between automatic mode and six programmed shooting modes.

It has a fixed 25mm f/3.5 lens (equivalent to 37mm) with the optical design of the Pentax Espio Mini and the field of view of the Ricoh Auto Half. Zone focusing offers six preset distances, from 25 cm macro to infinity, selectable by rotating the focus ring.

A bright Albada viewfinder ensures comfortable and reliable composition.
